When selecting a Netherland Dwarf doe for your breeding program don't be afraid of BUDS ( Big Ugly Does). I prefer the bigger does in my breeding program. The smaller show quality does I normally sell or give to the youth breeders. The bigger does have more capacity for carrying young, and are often better mothers. Look for does who display the proper head set defined by the ARBA Standard of Perfection.
